Main Environmental Characteristics:
- Established a “Green Group” to provide environmental training to staff;
- Set reduction targets for waste reduction, e.g. food waste reduction, collect furniture, electric appliance, water, glass and plastic bottle for recycling as well as guidelines to control noise and light pollution;
- Used natural lights in hotel lobby and corridors to reduce the use of lightings;
- Placed plants in hotel lobby and podium to provide a green environment;
- Installed motion sensor for rain shower at swimming pool;
- Installed monitoring equipment in ventilation system to check if there is sufficient fresh air within the hotel;
- Used air purifiers to purify indoor air in smoking guest rooms so as to reduce the smell in the rooms;
- Used recycled paper for hotel’s promotional materials.
