Main Environmental Characteristics:

  • Established an "Environmental Committee", comprising the Deputy General Manager, Chief Engineer and "Environmental Working Group" from Department Managers, aiming to plan and implement environmental programmes.
  • Installed timers and sensors of the lighting fixtures in corridors and signs.
  • Collected motor oil and hydraulic oil for recycling.
  • Installed a water recycling system to reduce the water consumption when defrosting frozen foods.
  • Instructed the contractors to use materials with low volatile organic compounds (VOCs) content during renovation.
  • Implemented measures for heat recovery of boilers.

Continuous Improvement Items:

  • The hotel has installed energy-saving T5 lightings in machine room, public area and office;
  • The hotel has installed water-saving taps in public toilets;
  • The hotel has started collecting monitors, televisions and other electrical appliances for recycling;
  • The hotel will install LED lightings in hotelˇs restaurant and ceiling.
