Installed sensors to monitor the lighting levels to determine if there is more than sufficient light. If so the lighting levels can be adjusted.
Used composting machines to treat food waste.
Installed "IonAir" control system to monitor and improve the indoor air quality of the hotel.
Used variable speed pumping for secondary chilled water recycling system.
Operated the steam boilers in two pressure level modes to suit the operation needs of laundry operation (higher pressure) and kitchen operation (lower pressure).
Continuous Improvement Items:
The hotel has established a record system for waste generation;
The hotel has participated in ¨Moon Cake Boxes Recycling Campaign〃 and ¨Old Clothes Recycling Campaign〃 to encourage recycling of moon cake boxes and old clothes;
The hotel will replace traditional lamps by energy-saving lamps.
